Art in Built Environment 2022
The project consisted of a week‑long collaborative exploration in which eight students engaged in an open, process‑driven painting dialogue. Rather than beginning with a predetermined concept or thematic framework, the group worked from only a handful of quick, form‑based sketches that served as loose starting points.
Throughout the week, the students developed the work collectively, responding to each other’s visual decisions in real time. This created a dynamic, evolving conversation on the surface — a visual exchange where each new layer, gesture, or intervention became both a reaction to what existed and an invitation for what might follow.
The emphasis was placed on experimentation, intuition, and trust in the unfolding process. The project encouraged students to let go of fixed outcomes and instead embrace the fluidity of shared authorship.
